2004 Hawaii High School Mock Trial Tournament

Kalani High School Mock Trial Team

for winnng the 2004 Hawaii High School Mock Trial Tournament. They will represent Hawaii in the National Mock Trial Tournament in Orlando, Florida on May 6 to 9, 2004

This year's Hawaii High School Mock Trial Tournament is made possible through funding from the Hawaii State Bar Association. The Hawaii Friends of Civic and Law-Related Education and the Judiciary History Center are sponsoring the 2004 Hawaii High School Mock Trial Tournament. The tournament is designed to encourage and engage students in the examination of critical issues of law and develop their advocacy and communication skills.

Teams will compete on their respective islands and the winners emerging from each of the island schools will then compete in the semi-final and final rounds of competition.

Each team is allowed 6-10 team members. There is no limit to the number of students who may practice as alternates.

Schools interested in participating must complete and submit an entry/application form to the Hawaii Friends of Civic and Law-Related Education. A registration fee of $200 per team must accompany the entry/application form. The registration fee is utilized to defray some of the program costs. The entry/application form and registration fee are due no later than November 30, 2003.
